Additional comments:
We encountered this Whale Shark on our 3rd dive ever (we were becoming PADI certified). It was in shallow water at the Wreck of the Liberty. We took many pictures. It was the most exciting event that we ever could or ever will see again. My husband and I were watching a show on the discovery channel about Whale sharks and we heard about the registery and felt that this shark had not been identified. There were no markers or tags on this one. We have pictures from almost every angle.
