I saw 4-5 whale shark from the 8th Oct. - 10th Oct. 2016 in Gorontalo / North Sulawesi.
2 yrs ago, there were many more. The spot is located directly at a now closed shrimp fabric where all the organic waste was led into the ocean, the animals were attracted. But now, due to non-ecological behavior and due to disturbing or even harming the whale sharks by the locals and tourists, they disappeared. Only Few came back to this site.

And I would love to name the sharks if they are not named so far! :)
